1- CSAJ General Assembly/Presidential Election for CSAJ-Kanto

2- CSAJ Year-End Party 2016

Time: 18:15-21:30

Entrance fee: 1500¥ (free for new students who came this Fall semester)

Why join? To enjoy:

  • A variety of Khmer food and drinks will be served as well
  • Meeting new friends, making social networking/chat
  • Playing games (with gifts)
  • Dancing Khmer social dances
  • Lucky draw (surprising gifts)

The Cambodian Students Association in Japan would like to inform to Khmer students studying and living in Japan, especially in Kanto area, that our Student Association will organize the 2017 year-end party, which will be held as mentioned in the poster below. We would love to welcome to all Khmer and Japanese guests in this party.


Final Table Meeting

On the 5th November 2017, CSAJ&CSAK 2017 Team hosted her final table meeting to summarize and observe feedbacks to the overall tasks that team has completed so far. The general budget spending was briefly presented by Ms. Chhim Solinda, the accountant of the team, after the President, Mr. Nop Visal’s presentation on the overall works during the term. Various feedbacks were given by the Vice Presidents, Ms. Ny Mavina especially, and the representatives of each office who joined the meeting. The team received many useful pieces of advice and comments from the meeting, and the team will continue to do her best to improve the rest of her events this year.

Looking for Presidential Candidates for CSAJ-Kanto 2018

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
First of all, CSAJ-Kanto (or CSAK) Executive Committee (ExCom) 2017 would like to say thank you for your support so far. The term of office for president is only one year, and for this year it will end in about 2 months (until 31st December 2017). Therefore, we are now looking for candidates to run for new presidential election of CSAJ-Kanto to be held on 24th December 2017. If you are interested in becoming the president of CSAJ-Kanto, please do not hesitate to apply.
– Cambodian students currently studying in Kanto Region of Japan
– Stay in Japan until 31st December 2018
How to apply:
– Make a manifesto indicating your personal information/background, reasons for applying, and your plan to lead CSAJ-Kanto. Here are examples of the previous manifesto for your reference (you can find more on CSAJ website:

Election process:
– All the presidential candidates must come to make a presentation of your manifesto
– Cambodian students who join the election will vote.

ASEAN Family Day

នៅថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០១៧ សមាគមននិស្សិតខ្មែរនៅប្រទេសជប៉ុន តំបន់កាន់តូ បានចូលរួមកម្មវិធី ASEAN Family Day ដែលជាកម្មវិធីប្រកួតកីឡាមិត្តភាពរវាងបណ្ដាស្ថានទូតប្រទេសអាស៊ាន នៅក្នុងប្រទេសជប៉ុន ក្រោមការអញ្ជើញរបស់ស្ថានទូតខ្មែរប្រចាំប្រទេសជប៉ុន។ នៅក្នុងពិធីប្រកួតនោះ តំណាងនិស្សិតខ្មែរបារចូលរួម ប្រកួតកីឡានានា ជាពិសេស ក្រុមកីឡាករវាយសីរបស់និស្សិតខ្មែរ បានទទួលជ័យលាភីលេខ៣ តំណាងឲ្យក្រុមស្ថានទូតខ្មែរ។ ក្រុមនិស្សិតខ្មែរ មានកិត្តិយស នឹងសេចក្ដីសោមនស្សរីករាយ ជាអនេក ដែលបានចូលរួមជាតំណាងក្នុងកម្មវិធីខាងលើ៕

On September 23, 2017, the Cambodian Cambodian Students Association in Japan Kanto region participated in the ASEAN Family Day, a friendly sport event of the ASEAN embassies in Japan upon the invitation of the Cambodian Embassy in Japan. In the event, Cambodian Students participated in various competitions, as a result; the badminton team has won the 3rd prize for the Cambodian embassy. Cambodian students are honored and pleased to be able to join the above event.

On Sunday, September 3, 2017, Cambodian Students Association in Japan (CSAJ) organized the Essay Presentation in Phnom Penh with many participants in the event. As a result, the evaluation committee has selected the winners as follow:

Meeting in Tokyo hosted by Samdach Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, the Prime Minister

នាថ្ងៃអាទិត្យ ទី៦ ខែសីហា ឆ្នាំ២០១៧ សមាគមនិស្សិតខ្មែរប្រចាំប្រទេសជប៉ុន មានកិត្តិយស ដែលសម្ដេចអគ្គមហាសេនាបតីតេជោ ហ៊ុន សែន នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រ កម្ពុជា បានអនុញ្ញាតឲ្យនិស្សិតខ្មែរ សិក្សានៅប្រទេសជប៉ុន បានចូលជួបសំដែងការគួរសម នៅក្នុងទីក្រុងតូក្យូ។
នៅក្នុងជំនួបនោះ មានសិស្សនិស្សិតខ្មែរចំនួន១២០នាក់ដែលមកពីតំបន់នានានៃប្រទេសជប៉ុនបានចូលរួម។ នៅក្នុងឱកាសនោះដែរ សម្តេចតេជោបានផ្តល់នូវអនុសាសន៌ល្អៗ ដើម្បីឲ្យសិស្សនិស្សិតខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងរៀនសូត្រយកចំនេះដឹង ក៏ដូចជាចំណេះធ្វើ ពីប្រទេសជប៉ុនទៅអភិវឌ្ឍប្រទេសកម្ពុជានាថ្ងៃអនាគត។

On Sunday, August 6, 2017, Cambodian Students Association in Japan (CSAJ) had the honor to join a meeting in Tokyo hosted by Samdach Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, the Prime Minister, with Cambodian students studying in Japan.

In the meeting, there were 120 Cambodian students from various areas in Japan participated. On that occasion, the Prime Minister provided good recommendations for students to try their best in learning from Japan to contribute to the development of Cambodia in the future.

សមាគមនិស្សិតខ្មែរប្រចាំប្រទេសជប៉ុន តំបន់កាន់តូកាលពីថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០១៧ បានប្រារព្ធពិធីអបអរសាទរ ប្រាសាទសំបូរព្រៃគុក ដែលបានដាក់បញ្ចូលក្នុងបញ្ជីបេតិកភណ្ឌពិភពលោក កាលពីពេលថ្មីៗកន្លងនេះ។
នៅក្នុងពិធីខាងលើនេះ មានការធ្វើបទបង្ហាញដោយលោក ញឹម សុធាវីន ស្តីអំពីប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រខ្មែរនាសម័យមុនអង្គរ នឹងរចនាបទនានារបស់ប្រាសាទសំបូរព្រៃគុក ព្រមទាំងមានការជជែកសំណេះសំណាលគ្នាផងដែរ។

“ASEAN Towards Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs)

On July 16, the Public Relations Officers of Cambodian Students Association in Japan Kanto region (CSAK) joined ASEAN Youth Network in Japan (AYNJ)’s ASEAN Academic Forum 2017 at ASEAN-Japan Center.
Since “ASEAN Towards Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs) was the main theme, from the views of the members of ASEAN, the presentations, panel discussion as well as poster’s presentations regarding the above topic were friendly discussed and talked in the forum.
With the support of every student’s associations, the forum ended smoothly. In the name of Cambodian Students Association in Japan, Public Relations officers worked their best to contribute in the above event.

Cambodia Festival 2017

As a co-organizer with Cambodia Embassy in Japan, Cambodian Students Association in Japan (CSAJ) joined Cambodia Festival 2017 at Yoyogi park both days (3rd & 4th, May) by assisted the whole festival with many participants of Khmer and Japanese student volunteers. Through the festival, CSAJ worked its best to contribute to the festival to promote Khmer culture and traditions as well as tourism to fellow Japanese guests who joined the event.
